CTIA Spectrum Clearinghouse Administrators

Jeff Simmons
As the Director of Technology Programs at CTIA-The Wireless Association, Jeff is responsible for driving initiatives for the industry's Wireless Internet Caucus (WIC) and cultivating, implementing, and leading CTIA's business development opportunities. He currently directs the administration of the Common Short Code (CSCA) program in the U.S., promotes CTIA's interest in providing spectrum clearinghouse support under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and has oversight for off-portal related issues.

Prior to joining CTIA, Jeff was involved with various telecommunications companies including MCI and Verizon. Previous experience includes the tactical and strategic management of The Neighborhood by MCI (a bundled local and long distance product) and the development of a centralized repository for 411 data at Verizon. Jeff earned his M.B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and a B.S. degree in accounting from Montana State University.
